Proud to share a night with two special guests: C.Z. and Dean Spunt.
I think calling someone "your favorite producer's favorite producer" can get a little tired but real ones know C.Z. is in the Florida Man Hall of Fame. His raw and authentic synth work and club conscious drum programming always strikes the right balance between clean and dirty that I've found difficult to find in anyone else's sound. See for yourself.
A friend of mine put me onto Dean Spunt when I was putting this all together and after checking out his album I instantly reached out. His wild, sputtering, twisting and turning electronic sampling over intermittent soft and gliding synth chords give that "serious but not that serious" energy that always has a place in music as a whole. So excited to hear what he's got for us.
If you're unfamiliar with these players in the underground South Florida scene, here's a crash course. Girlcop will bring his jack heavy redline-core bass and dirty house. Dust Party One alumni 4noon will be the ambient downtempo iconic siren that she is. And then mutual image (me) will be performing some live cuts from the upcoming album which is coming out pretty cool.
